Falls Down is wounded in a botched ambush, but Dashiell Bad Horse turns their would-be assassins into swiss cheese. The ill-tempered Native American undercover agent follows a hunch that Red Crow was behind the setup. In a brief confrontation, Red Crow persuades Dash that it's the white bureaucrats whose rez meth labs Bad Horse has been busting who paid for the hit, though we later see Lister, the surviving leader of the assassins, brought before Red Crow and killed by Red Crow's goons. Dash storms off to take a domestic disturbance call and has a fateful run-in with Red Crow's seductive daughter Carol.
