Persepolis
Book 1 Book 2Although this site originally dedicated to comics, I can't help not to feature these GREAT graphic novels. In black and white, Marjane Satrapi, the author slash artist of the graphic novels told us about her childhood life in Iran and later in Vienna. A little history lesson, Persepolis was an ancient city in Iran, hence the title.

Final Crisis Sketchbook
Although this one doesn't contain the sketches of the major characters shown in the cover, it is worth reading. It will still be interesting to see the process of how the characters determined to look like, what nature or attribute they should have and how to make it reflected in the drawings.
